Ονομασία Τοπωνύμιο (Αγριά): About the name of Agria have shown different views. Predominately are four. Ιστορική αναδρομή: Agria extends along the beach Pagassitikos about six miles southeast of Volos and is the nearest suburb. Is relatively new town(became the community 1912). Other local businesses were founded and flourished then as the plant I.Matsango involved in processing, packaging and marketing of olives, the woodworking craft was originally built drums and modernizing industry turned into woodworking and furniture while. Ιστορική αναδρομή:The Drakeia, Pelion village with a long history, situated in an idyllic location amidst orchards of fruit trees. feature of the village are the houses with stone roofs. Located at an altitude 500 meters and is 17.5 km from Volos and 10km from Agria.'s built-to-point , probably from fear of pirates. The village is located NE of Volos, with closer to sunrise, not just NE of Agria, north of Lower Lehonia. Is northwest Portaria, southeast Saint Lawrence and beyond what St. George. The latter villages are chain continuity with dragons. The local unit (former municipality) Agria occupies an area 25,2 sq.km.. and has a total population 6.112 κατοίκους. Located on the slopes of Pelion, βόρεια του πολεοδομικού συγκροτήματος του Βόλου με το οποίο συνδέεται.

The former municipality functioned from 1999 to 2010 με έδρα την Αγριά.
