·Γιορτη Κρασιού

The Wine Festival New Aghialos an institution for the region, since it was first organized in 1960, where ever there was mirth, Excitement and fun, similar to that which existed days of harvest in Aghialos Eastern Rumelia. Passion for growing viticulture, remains the most important common cultural aspect of Old and New Aghialou. Continuing this tradition is organized Aghialou New Wine Festival every August, attracting many visitors from Volos and the region of Thessaly, in a place really nice and welcoming, δίπλα στην θάλασσα.

All guests of the Festival, προσφέρεται δωρεάν παγωμένο κρασί από τον Αγροτικό Παραγωγικό Συνεταιρισμό Νέας Αγχιάλου «Η ΔΗΜΗΤΡΑ».

The program of the event includes Greek nights entertainment by local artists , island songs, traditional - folk song , αλλά και σύγχρονες λαϊκές επιτυχίες.

For many decades, the residents of New Aghialou have developed important links with the city of their origin, the old Anchialo Eastern Rumelia, the current Pomorie Bulgaria and each year during the Festival hosted a delegation from the municipality of Pomorie Bulgaria

·Θεατρικές Παραστάσεις

With ten rise of amateur theater group New Aghialos, Today I am happy to say that the effort was completed successfully and that the bet was won. This theatrical activity has been recorded in the cultural conditions of our municipality and has become deeply rooted in our society, so every year we all waiting for the new project of our theater group. This indicates, also, that small communities are able, with appropriate assistance from the Municipal Authority, mobilize forces that are willing to support such cultural activities, sometimes causing surprise for’ αυτές τις δυνατότητές τους ακόμη και στους ίδιους τους συμμετάσχοντες σε αυτές τις προσπάθειες.

The ten-year presence of the theater group in New Aghialou gives plenty of laughter every time viewers of!

·Χορωδιακό Φεστιβάλ

Επί 17 consecutive years, place the Choral Festival of New Aghialou. Οι χορωδιακές συναντήσεις στη πόλη της Νέας Αγχιάλου αποτελούν κορυφαίο πολιτιστικό γεγονός και για την περιοχή της Μαγνησίας.
Faithful, Choral music lovers will flock back to theater, behind the Town Hall, the standard space of many and diverse quality events, to enjoy the local ,αλλά και τις προσκεκλημένες χορωδίες.

The Municipal Choir of New Anchialos prepare each year a completely renewed and attractive repertoire defending the good Greek Choral Music, wanting to renew their musical taste and interest choirs and audience, αποκτώντας εμπειρίες αλλά προπάντων συναισθήματα.

·Democratic Nights

Κάθε χρόνο κατά την καλοκαιρινή περίοδο διοργανώνονται λαικές βραδιές στη Νέα Αγχίαλο και στα τοπικά διαμερίσματα Μικροθηβών κι Αϊδινίου με της παρουσία του τοπικού χορευτικού μας συγκροτήματος και συνοδεία ντόπιων μουσικών καλλιτεχνών.

Traditional Activities

During the course of time the New Agchialos tried not to alienate its character and vibrancy which governs. Οι ντόπιοι κάτοικοι διατειρούν τις παραδοσιακές τεχνικές και μυστικά της παραγωγής κρασιού και τσίπουρου που έχει μεταδοθεί από γενιά σε γενιά από τον ξεριζωμό των παλιών πατρίδων της Ανατολικής Ρωμυλίας.

·Celebration Holocaust Anchialos

Commemorations of the anniversary of the Holocaust Aghialos the Bulgarians, performed in 30 July 1906, that marked the creation of today's New Aghialos in Magnesia. As part of the events celebrated memorial on site of Fallen Heros, in Central Square, New Anchialos plaisionontai and events with local dance band and other bands on katagomenoun Eastern Rumelia with tunes and dances of the region

·Festival of traditional dances

For many years, place in New Anchialo Festival of Traditional Dances with the participation of the local dance group and the participation of many Greek Dance Groups

Folk Traditions

The Agchialos has several interesting morals and during years. Some of the intriguing traditions is the "office," the best man , wetting the groom ,the treadle and Sourva the New Year , three-day, etc.,

·Το «αξίωμα» του κουμπάρου

When making wreaths "values" the best man. Friends and acquaintances are ending dance of Isaiah and his voice sounded "worthy" ,best man raises his hands and forced him fix something as they used to say, to promise to do something for friends,   συνήθως ένα καλό γλέντι.

·Το βρέξιμο του γαμπρού

Στις 7 January Ai Yannis if someone was in Anchialo that of the previous day , ie lights that sanctified the waters , would meet with a group 5-6 men and to the accompaniment of folk instruments routed to the beach . In the midst of the gang was niogampros , meaning the one who married within the past year . After being thrown into the sea with the clothes they wore , turned home , change clothes and have fun. Το έθιμο έχει παραλαχθεί και το βρέξιμο είναι πλέον το μπουγέλωμα το οποίο αναβιώνεται κάθε χρόνο.

·Το ποδαρικό και η σούρβα

In Anchialo , except carols ,children did odd jobs and said the Sourva. On the day of the New Year of dawn began boys with an olive branch in hand for treadle . Banged in the olive branch is usually one to one individuals of the group , usually went to famous houses so for good as they used to say. A child that would make omen was a boy to be healthy and be gourlis. Το φιλοδώρημα από το έθιμο ήταν υψηλό .Το έθιμο αυτό το έφεραν οι Αγχιαλίτες από τη παλιά τους πατρίδα και συνεχίζεται μέχρι σήμερα.

·Τα τριήμερα

An old tradition is the three-day New Anchialo. Είναι καθαρά γυναικεία εκδήλωση και γίνεται τη Τετάρτη μετά τη Καθαρή Δευτέρα με τη συνοδεία λαϊκών οργάνων.

The Agchialos has enough morals and interests during the year. Some traditions are <αξίωμα > του κουμπάρου , wetting the groom ,the treadle and Sourva the New Year , three-day, etc.,

WEDDING
