Inhabited since the mid-7th millennium up to the 4th millennium BC. In the Middle Neolithic (5millennium BC) The settlement extends over a large area, at least 100 acres. Over the hill “Καστράκι” there are the stone foundations of houses, which are usually small with narrow alleys between them, forming in some places squares. Τα ευρήματα από τις ανασκαφές που ακολούθησαν κατέστησαν τKastrakiό του Σέσκλου έναν από τους σπουδαιότερους νεολιθικούς οικισμούς της Ελλάδας και της Ευρώπης.

Αρχαιολογικός χώρος Διμηνίου : On a low hill, on the northwestern outskirts of the modern village, there are remnants of large and well-organized settlement, who first inhabited in the Neolithic era (late 5th millennium BC)
