The Municipal Water & New drainage Aghialou ( Water Supply. )
Hiring, by private contract term, a total of two ( 2 ) people to meet the temporary needs of the Municipal Enterprise for Water Supply & New drainage Aghialou ( Water Supply. ) located in the prefecture of Magnesia in New Anchialo, Liberty Street 23 - PC. 37400, namely, per service, seat, specialty and contract length, number of people 2.
With this slogan, the inhabitants of the municipality gathered on Sunday 2 May the central square and raised a voice of protest about the decision of the Interior Ministry where the Program Kallikratis proposed combination of Nea Aghialou with the Municipality of Volos. The protest leaders spoke of minorities of Nea Aghialou, k. Evangelia Krikou and Mr. Theologian Diamond and Mayor k. Elias Karapatakis. Also welcome remarks and the President of the Athens Anchialiton k. Apostolis ZAFIROPOULOS, who came from Athens to succor the Struggle Anchialiton. Then followed a symbolic blockade of National Highway where residents, with raised panels asked to keep the town autonomous and legislation be called martyr. Mayor k. Elias Karapatakis stressed among other: ” The City of New Aghialos is agonizing Municipality and such should remain as not to lose the identity of”.
Also at the conference KEDKE filed document which the request refers – proposal of the Municipality which follows:
With the announcement of the planning of the Program on Kallikratis 28/4/2010, the City of New Aghialos issued the following unanimous resolution:
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL NEW AGCHIALOU
"The Municipal Council decided unanimously in our extraordinary meeting of 28/4/2010 following:
Expresses its full opposition to the proposal of the Ministry of Interior for the combination of our municipality with the Municipality of Volos.
Adheres to previous decisions and considers it all the conditions and possibilities to stand up in self-governing country map us as autonomous and doubly agonizing Municipality. "
Following the above recommended, the criterion of 12.000 residents who places the Program Kallikratis a cut for being autonomous lowland municipality, where indicated in the text ".... than mountain and island municipalities', add ".... and witnesses Municipalities (from the Network 17 Witnesses Municipalities 1940-45) which have a population of over 5.000 residents'
To this end we mention that only three (3) Agonizing Municipalities of the above (17), not remain autonomous municipality nor the name is mentioned in one of the proposed KALLIKRATI (The municipalities are the City of New Aghialos, 7.411 residents - the City Timpaki, 9.884 and residents - the City High, 5.351 residents)
Please consider our request favorably to the holocaust of our municipality in April 1943 by the Italians and the Holocaust of Old Aghialou Black Sea, on 30/7/1906 not be erased with the passage of time from the memory of our nation.

According to recent reports in the local press about references for the development of the airport Anchialos, we mention the following:
Η Νομαρχιακή Αυτοδιοίκηση Μαγνησίας, in references made to the airport Anchialos, using serum Airport of Central Greece , without the local reference New Aghialos, as is also so far. Also as their number. 2735/23-7-2009 document, propose the renaming of the airport Anchialos Airport of Central Greece Jason, citing research Airport Development Plan New Aghialos - Central Greece, prepared under the project actions DEAR.
The questionnaire relied on this research, obviously targeted at consumers were indifferent to any denomination of the airport and who had no emotional connection to the airport Anchialos.
We would like to make known that the reopening of the civil airport of New Aghialou, started 1984 a proposal by the then community Anchialos, which carried the former President of LUCC and Mayor of Volos, Michael Kountouris, a broader meeting of local government held in Larissa and involved throughout Thessaly, in the presence of then Prime, Andreas Papandreou, which he accepted our proposal and gave a mandate for the reopening of the civil airport Anchialos.
Για εμάς τους Αγχιαλίτες το αεροδρόμιο έχει συνδεθεί με την ανάπτυξη της πόλης μας καθώς η ιστορία του ξεκίνησε λίγα χρόνια μετά την εγκατάσταση των προσφύγων Αγχιαλιτών . So the airport in line with the development and path of our city. Also in 29 July 2009 City Council New Aghialos with No.. 172/2009 unanimously, propose the name Airport New Aghialos Central Greece .
For these reasons it would be logical and obvious the Prefecture of Magnesia and the media hereinafter when referring to the civilian airport Anchialos, to use the term New Aghialos Airport of Central Greece .
