EDUCATIONAL – CULTURAL – EXORAISTIKOS ASSOCIATION Agios Vasilios PILIOU
The Cultural – Cultural and Improvement Society was founded in St. Vasilios 1983 and here 25 years actively working in the field of cultural heritage, to preserve local customs and traditions but also in view of the place.
The Board of Directors of the Association shall consist of the following:

- Theos Anastasios – Vice president
- Katherine Demopoulos – Secretary
- Mastroyiannis George – Treasurer
- Damtsas Dimitrios – Member
The above collection is housed in a renovated traditional building with wonderful views Pagassitikos in a warm and inviting space that serves as a center for the youth daily. In the area of the Cultural Association's library with many excellent books. It also hosts a collection of traditional costumes from four regions of Greece, which adorn the four dance groups of the collection, which comprises 18 years of presence in the traditional dance.
In’ this painstaking and systematic effort all these years organized a series of events to inform residents and tourists of the village around social issues, cultural, historical.
Within these events occur informative speeches, events with medical content, εκθέσεις φωτογραφίας, exhibitions, Ceramics Exhibition, exhibitions and book presentations. In addition to all the events presented each year including folk festival, Folklore evenings, night rock music and evening youth for youth. For the little ones and not only made shadow theater and theatrical performances.
Worth mentioning the valiant efforts of the members of the above club after many years established group donation and so is always close to villagers to health problems.
Since May 2008 created and team fire on the initiative of residents of St. Vasilios and Cultural Association to preserve the wonderful green landscape in which we are fortunate enough to live but also to sensitize the community about the environment.
Finally it is worth noting that in recent years organized celebration for lemon peach, product of the local village, which includes informative speeches, product exposure and many sweets derivative and traditional revelry.
Through these events the Educational Association of Agios Vasilios is the daily presence and action by the ordinary man trying to hold intact the culture and heritage of our country over time.
