INTERNATIONAL CENTER OF CERAMICS AND CONTEMPORARY ART
FAMILY KINGDOM ANETOPOULOU
The museum is a non-profit foundation, Legal Private and was named International Centre for Contemporary Ceramics and Art Family Kingdom Anetopoulou in memory of the first potter family (by 1790). Open daily throughout the day and throughout the year.
Outside of school curricula from 2001 The museum held an exhibition of ceramics and 2003 International Ceramics Symposiums. Details so far the activity of the museum is the following:
- The 2001 was 1theCeramics Exhibition "Contemporary ceramists 2001», which was attended 45 artists from across the country.
- The 2002 held the 2theCeramics Exhibition "Contemporary potters 2002»With participation 47 ceramists from all over Greece.
- The 2003 was actually the first International Symposium of Ceramics 7 Σεπτ. until 18 Sept 2003. The Symposium was attended 11 artists from Greece, Italy, Korea and Tunisia. The work was carried out in the laboratory of the family who works alongside the Museum.
- Also, it 2003 the same period and was 3theCeramics Exhibition "Contemporary Ceramists 2003»With participation 57 artists from all over Greece.
- The 2004 we had 2theInternational Ceramics Symposium with participation 10 artists from Greece, Bulgaria, is3 Ukraine and Romania as well as the 4theCeramics Exhibition with participation 62 artists, ceramists from all over Greece.
- The 2005 held the 3theInternational Ceramics Symposium with participation 10 artists from Greece, Italy, Norway, America and Ukraine. Also, done simultaneously and 5theCeramics Exhibition with participation 74 potters from Greece and Cyprus.
- The 2006 held the 4theInternational Ceramics Symposium and 6theInternational Ceramics Exhibition "Contemporary Ceramists 2006».
At all events it was the supporters of Magnesia Prefecture, the Chamber of Magnesia, TEDK Magnesia, the Municipality of Artemis, while 2004 The Symposium was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture.
The 2005 The family celebrated Anetopoulou 215 year ceramics.
