Starting from the city of Volos our itinerary for Pelion is a choice between two directions, one leads to the North and the other in the western and southeastern Pelion. Already soon as you enter the city of Volos will see sign for the northern Pelion that will lead you to the nearby and very tourist villages of Portaria, Makrynitsa, Hania to the ski center. Follow the signs to south Pelion and quickly moving out of town, the coastal road along the coast of Gulf Pagassitikos. The road leads to Agria, 8 km. from Volos. Worth seeing the old railway station in the early 20th century and the old industrial buildings.
