O Athletic Cultural Organization of the Municipality of Portaria (A.P.O.D.P.) created 2001 and is the principal body engaged in the preservation and revival of traditions. Agency President is Mr. Vlachoutsis Dimitrios.

The athletic department deals with all the sporting activities of the Municipality, events and sports. While the cultural department has taken the entertainment of visitors and residents through various cultural events held especially summer. Also operate and traditional dance groups dance.
