The Ano Volos, as stretching into the green and southern orientation slope, maintains much of the older edge of. Old mansions, mixed with the new ones keep the same architectural style, paths,taps, squares with traditional color also, and all these – to quote John Leonardo- “within dasyskious poplar, walnut,plane trees and cypresses, on which lurk many melodic checkers, which in the singing of delight listeners“.

The Ano Volos divided, in the districts of Prophet Elias, of St.  Trinity, τηςMary, of Diocese andToumba. Of the attractions of the village stands the church of Our Lady of the Presentation (Panayitsa), where visitors can admire the folk reliefs in limestone, that is fitted on the outside of the sanctuary,and two magnificent marble reliefs of the 13th century were built earlier in the church of the Diocese and carried from the old and ruined abbey Acute Episkepseos of Makrinitsas.

Aone of these reliefs depicted upright Virgin Mary holding the hand also the infant Christ standing on the other side sat the monk Leontius. And the other is erect the Archangel Michael. One of the most interesting,όμως, attractions of the church are two large signs with Byzantine characters and archaic texts that are carved in marble, side and left the tap of the church. From the very difficult reading and even more difficult interpretation of texts carved the fountain was constructed in 1713, the expense of the then Bishop of Larissa Parthenioy.

The is a three aisled basilica without exo-narthex,with stone isodomimena ntouvaria covered with sparse cement and with a pitched roof covered with Roman tiles. Other decorative elements of the temple is a lion, built up in the southern ntouvari the youngest and built glued on the west side of the church spire.

APo other monumental elements of the temple is also quite stylish the Sanctuary gate at the Beautiful Gate carved but without many decorative handcrafted wooden screen,and the bishop's throne and the pulpit,with sparse gold embroidery. Good art and despotic and most of the icons, some of which belong to the church of the Assumption of the hill of the Diocese, AP'TO which transferred for better safety at the church of the Virgin.
