The fourth municipal district of Portaria are Stagiates. A small village northwest of Portaria, with plousiofysiko environment, where visitors can enjoy the green overlooking Volos.

From old Stagiates was known for two things. For nice and crystal waters and for the delicious sausages.

Today, the Municipal Section Portaria, trying to salvage some of the old customs, revived every time the tradition of sausage, diorganontas the "Sausage Festival" every July in the village square.
