Responsibilities of Administrative Services

The Directorate of Administrative Services is in charge of the organizational units under its jurisdiction, based on the existing ISD of the Municipality of Volos, exercising the statutory control and supervision of their operation.

Human Resources Department Responsibilities:

• It undertakes the preparation of the Internal Service Organization of the Municipality, its amendments and its adaptation to the provisions in force.
• Ensures the implementation and completion of competitions and the implementation of procedures for recruiting human resources to cover jobs, in accordance with the needs of the Municipality's services and on the basis of the provisions that are in place.
• It carries out all the business cases concerning the personnel issues of the Municipality, with every working relationship and ensures the implementation of the respective legislation
• It keeps up-to-date the relevant personnel files of the permanent and contract staff of the Municipality, as well as the files of the retired personnel.
• Apply the legal procedures involved in the census of staff and their evaluation, as well as in the preparation of the list of persons responsible for the submission of declarations "Posten eschees"
• It issues all kinds of attestations to staff on issues related to their employment in the municipality.

Department of Logistics

Department responsibilities:

• The Department of Logistics is responsible for the operation of the central protocol of the Municipality and is responsible for handling the incoming and outgoing correspondence of the Municipality's services.
• He makes the posting of documents and announcements on the bulletin boards of the Municipality and prepares the relevant postal proofs
• It deals with internal issues of the Municipality, such as the housing and cleaning of the Municipality's services, the operation of the call center.

Department responsibilities

SECONDARY ADMINISTRATIVE ADMINISTRATION SERVICES

Responsibilities of Decentralized Administrative Services

Within the jurisdiction of the Directorate of Administrative Services, the decentralized Departments and Administrative Offices belong to the headquarters of the former Local Authorities and the Municipal Elements of the Municipality of Volos. The responsibilities of the Departments and Administrative Offices are broadly the following:

• Administrative and secretarial support of the relevant Council Presidents' Councils and Local Councils.
• Administrative and secretarial support of the competent deputy mayors of municipalities.
• Issuance of certificates of permanent residence certificates of permanent residence, grazing, farmers, livestock farmers, population of municipal unity and local communities, etc.
• Informing and informing citizens about the actions required to handle administrative affairs related to central municipal services.
• Receiving citizens 'requests to process their cases from headquarters, and forwarding citizens' case files to the municipal service responsible for handling them in any convenient way.
• Receipt by the responsible central services of the final documents requested by the citizens and their delivery to the citizens.
